After getting up at 3:00 in the morning to be at the airport at 4:00, many were exhausted after a long day of travel! Which is also why this blog is a little late! Anyways.. we left the airport and arrived in Atlanta right on schedule. There were storms brewing as we landed which shut the airport down for a short period of time. Luckily we had an eight hour layover so we weren't worried about a little storm! We got our ducks in a line and headed to downtown Atlanta to visit the World Coke Musuem!

Thanks to Dan Traina, we were able to escape the airport and appreciate the wonder that is Coca-Cola! We learned all about what makes Coke so great and the secret recipe! We started watching a short film about happiness and how we all have that joint experience! Then we learned how they bottled Coke, which was super cool! Finally we were able to test all 100 Coca-cola brands in their extensive tasting room! After we gathered the ducklings again we headed to Subway for a great lunch!

After we finished up in Downtown Atlanta we got back on the MARTA (the Atlanta Subway) and worked our way back through security and to our gate! There we met up with Niki and Kelly and found out our plane was delayed by one and a half hours! The energy of our volunteers was fading, but their spirits were still up!

We got on the plane and made our way to Kingston! When we arrived we made it through immigration and every single one of our bags made it to baggage claim! We were so pumped! After making some deals with the Customs Office we got all of our bags through and were on our way to Stella Maris! We had a quick dinner and sent everyone off to bed! It was a long day but a great start to the week! Stay tuned for later and you can hear about first day in Kingston!
