We have had our fair share of Zimmers join us throughout the years. Donald and Zach each participated a number of times, but now its the girls turn! This year we have Chrissy and Laura joining us! We are so excited to have this mother daughter pair! Laura is finishing up her junior year at Pittsford Mendon High School! Like many others in our volunteer team, this is her first mission trip! Laura has heard so much about JASY from her older brothers and has been dying to experience camp! Laura will be joining the Olympic Village Venue and is excited to spend some quality time with campers, as well as learning teamwork skills. Laura mentioned that she has been extremely loved through her childhood here in Pittsford, and wants to be able to share that love with the Jamaican youth! Laura we are so excited to watch you embrace the campers and bring them that love and compassion.
Laura's mother, Chrissy, will also be coming to Kingston with us! Like Laura, she has heard nothing but amazing things about the JASY experience from her two boys. She knew that it was time for her and Laura to experience it as well. Chrissy will be a part of the Swimming Venue this year! We are excited to have a Mom in the pool and we know that she will keep everyone safe and happy! Chrissy is excited and nervous about the upcoming adventure, but we know that she is going to do great! Chrissy and Laura, we are so excited to have you join us this year and can't wait to see how you share your family love with the children of Jamaica!
