Its that time of year again! We have all been anxiously awaiting the next JASY Camp, and have been working around the clock to make it the best experience yet! Over the past few months the JASY Planning Team has put together a list of 30 volunteers who will be making the long trip down to Kingston, Jamaica in hopes of changing the lives of the disadvantaged youth that live throughout the city.
Over the next two months, leading up to the 2015 edition of JASY Camp, I will be posting information about the team, specifically who are the members and what their roles will be at camp. I will also periodically post information to keep all of our donors, volunteers, family and friends up to date about the Camp. During the week of Camp, we also be posting blogs about the day, the campers, and how the Team is doing down in Jamaica.
In the mean time... Lets remember that life is precious and completely out of our control. Whatever is meant to happen will and we will roll with the punches. What our volunteers do is beyond amazing. They are taking close to 2 weeks out of their busy lives to help foster the growth of the Jamaican youth. They are making a difference in the lives of 150 children. God bless them.
